![]() ![]() During late 1942, the trigger frame mag well had been strengthened by extending the framework upward partly covering the sides of the recipient. ![]() The early style pin was changed by an enhanced two-piece pin number that had been less difficult to remove. The earlier creation hinged recipient utilized a one-piece front receiver pin number that acquired a round groove in the center and had been retained in location by a round piece of spring metal. The removable front view hood (which is lacking from most illustrations) has been replaced by a set hood permanently welded to the barrel or clip shroud. Another transformation has been to replace the removable front sight hood, which was often dropped in the field. The top sight was a threaded blog post adaptable for level and the sight could also be drifted still left or best to adjust for windage. To simplify manufacture, the tangent sight was replaced by a basic U-notch, two-leaf flip sight with one leaf noted 10 for 100 meters and the 2nd proclaimed 20 for 200 meters. Earlier manufacturing PPSh 41 submachine weapons were fitted with a tangent design rear view calibrated out to a range of 500 metres. ![]()
